Why does my inbox look empty, but it isn’t…
Because I snooze emails. A lot.
Maybe you’ve found ‘snooze’ already. But if not, you’re in for a treat 🙂
It’s one of the best ways I’ve found to protect my time, my brain, and my well-being.
Not everything needs dealing with now. But if it stays in my inbox, guess what? It feels like it does.
So I snooze:
– Emails that I want to reply to properly, not in a rushed manner.
– Info I need later, not today.
– Things that need time that I don’t have yet.
They disappear.
Then pop back when I can deal with them.
Like magic.
(Okay, like Google.)
It’s helped me keep focus, reduce the swirl, and not feel constantly behind.
And this can really help when you’re about to go on school holidays. Snooze emails for times you will be able to deal with them, or for when you come back. That way they are gone (from your inbox), but not forgotten.
And yes – sometimes I even snooze emails that I sent to myself 😂
Do you use snooze? Got a better trick? I’d love to hear it.
