The role play exercise was really fun and a nice way to spend the afternoon opposed to listening to strategies/ models which could become too long. "It was laid out really clearly, it was great to receive the course guide and also the book. I really enjoyed the break out room times, the activities were clear and they enabled me to start really thinking about difficult conversations I have had in the past and the ones I need to have! Carol was AMAZING at being the different people, she was incredibly convincing and really bought the training to life. I have found with other training where participants are asked to role play everyone always tends to be too nice. However, Carol responded in a much more 'real' way and allowed us all to reflect on how we would react in these difficult situations and Jess was great at guiding these.
