Heads Up

I love a picnic!  Every summer I get as many friends and loved ones together in a London park and we have a fab time picnicking and as we’re getting into picnic weather I thought I’d share a few of my favourite salads.  Now I know salad sounds boring but trust me these are delicious and very very easy to make and all courtesy of BBC Good Food (love that website!).  Let me know if you like them 🙂

Here are some of my favourite salads, perfect for the busy and great for a picnic.

Southwestern salad – the best of the bunch!

This literally takes 10 mins to make but it’s one I’ve had countless compliments for.  It’s also one I could happily eat all by myself!!!

Warm new potato salad with bacon and blue cheese

This one takes a bit of time but not much work.  And it tastes like it should be bad for you…maybe it’s not as perfectly healthy as other salads but it does have quite a bit of green in it and that’s got to count…doesn’t it?

Help your self tuna rice salad

This is one that will keep in the fridge for a day or two so it’s a great one to make in bulk. If you have lots of mouths to feed I can imagine it could be a good grazing meal…hence the name!
