Marking issues most commonly present around how often it’s been done and/or the quality, so here’s a sentence you can shape to suit your conversation and get it on track for success:

“I’ve looked at your books and I’ve seen that there aren’t any next steps feedback for your class. We do need next steps feedback to develop the learning to be given in all books.”
